A Lab is an instance: it owns the project — tracks, clips, samples, timing, loop, lyrics — as one live model. Songbook and Booth are views onto it, not separate copies. Edit in one, it's there in the other. Leave a viewpoint and it freezes (loaded, not running); the instance stays warm until you exit the Lab.

Bound in amberglass, the realm keeps its first songs here — every page a room, every room a year. Those who read aloud are said to wake the light.
